Terms of Use

Effective and last updated: September 13, 2026

Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and Paid Participant. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into this agreement.

The service

Paid Participant organizes information about third-party research opportunities and may provide alerts, guides, filtering, application links, and membership features. We are not the sponsor, researcher, recruiter, employer, or payment provider for listed studies unless expressly stated otherwise.

Listings can change, close, contain errors, or become unavailable without notice. We do not guarantee that any opportunity is available, accurate, suitable, legitimate, or compliant with law, or that you will qualify, be selected, participate, or receive payment.

Accounts and memberships

You are responsible for accurate account information and for activity under your account. You may not share access credentials or use another person’s identity. We may suspend or terminate access for fraud, abuse, nonpayment, security risk, or violation of these Terms.

If paid memberships are offered, the price and billing interval shown at checkout will control. Recurring memberships automatically renew until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless stated otherwise. All membership fees are final and nonrefundable once charged, except where a refund is required by law or expressly promised at checkout. Canceling does not refund or prorate the current billing period. Additional checkout terms will be presented before any charge.

Acceptable use

You may use the service only for personal, lawful participation in legitimate research. You may not bypass access limits; scrape, copy, republish, resell, or systematically extract listings; interfere with security or operation; use automated access without written permission; impersonate another person; submit dishonest screener information; or use the service to harm others.

Third-party services

Application links and other resources lead to independent third parties with their own terms, privacy practices, eligibility rules, and payment obligations. Your dealings with them are solely between you and that third party. A link does not constitute endorsement, partnership, or a guarantee by Paid Participant.

Ownership

Paid Participant’s branding, software, original text, design, selection, organization, presentation, and participant guide are owned by Paid Participant or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Underlying facts and third-party names, marks, and content remain the property of their respective owners.

No license to access, copy, reproduce, share, upload, publish, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative commercial materials from the participant guide is granted unless Paid Participant expressly provides one in writing. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, OR RESULTS.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAID PARTICIPANT AND ITS OWNERS, AFFILIATES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, MISSED OPPORTUNITIES, THIRD-PARTY CONDUCT, OR PAYMENT DISPUTES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO PAID PARTICIPANT DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THESE TERMS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by Florida law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
